On June 22nd, 1987 the NBA draft took place in NYC.

Seattle drafted Scottie Pippen with the 5th overall pick.
Shortly after, Bulls GM Jerry Krause secured Pippen from Seattle.

The rest is history.

The 90's Bulls are considered one of the best teams in NBA history.
The 2 Three-peats, 70-12 season and more.
