The post

I'm reminded that whilst we strive to provide and thrive in our daily lives, it can be hard.

Sometimes we want a small reprieve some deep, well-deserved rest.

But in striving for worldly things,

things that are brief,

things that don't last -

there will be a never-ending striving for more.

Which leads to a relentless need for effort.

Which will push us to be more tired.

Today's verse is a reminder for myself.

Whilst we work hard, Jesus's yoke relieves us from the burdens of the world.

If you're feeling tired, know that his yoke is kind and gentle.

You will get the refreshment and the relief that you so desperately want.
