Inspiration and process
Dean, dictated after posting. Speech to text, verbatim.
When I used to run the digital sprint of the back of Ship 30 for 30 Admin I wanted to document the fact that I've done 30 for 30 posts and the fact that I was creating these graphics was almost like a marking that I done a post and the reason that the calendar or the 30 day images that I was producing it made for me it looked like a like a collection almost like a kid collector collection of cards or Will comics and I grew up in that era where you know you'd have to go collect sets of things whether it was basketball cards or comic or it was guitar magazines or you know things like that and so when I created tha first calendar tile of 3430 I really really like the look of it but then as I kept going it had to I had to move if I couldn't just keep having the same one because it just felt a little bit too easy. That's why I do things like I would change the copy. I would change the background. I would change the numbers and then I would put in the image of you know where I've marked out where I hadn't done it and that came overtime because it was more just a microphone look what I haven't done and yet it was still a creative pursuit so I'm going to attach in the inspiration as far as the I guess the lineage of where it came from just a couple of other examples this particular this particular calendar image was done 100% using AI and I'm fascinated with how the output looks. I'm not having to mess around in Canva but the irony is that you have to do the work initially in Canva or some sort of design tool so that you can get some of the layouts out and now with AI I'm able to then iterate on top of that. Is it perfect? No but it's pretty good so hear what you'll see is I've got a number of 30 for 30 tiles and again this is just another example of repurposing your existing content and so the more you do it the more you can actually experiment in out and try new things and so that's what this was. I wanted to make a little bit easier for myself by doing a countdown at five putting in some data but also just getting something out is it a masterpiece as far as Content concern? No it's not but it is helping me understand how to use AI effectively and it is helping me how to be more creative and so this will be the first providence layer post in this series and we'll see how it turned out.
